About this Role

Job Title: Class Teacher - Primary

We are looking for a dedicated Primary Class Teacher at Braintcroft who fosters an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Skilled in supporting diverse learners, delivering creative lessons, and building strong relationships with pupils and families to promote academic progress, confidence, and well‑rounded development.

Braintcroft Primary Academy is a vibrant, ambitious and proudly diverse 3‑form entry school in the heart of Brent. With over 660 pupils and a community representing more than 30 languages, we are a school full of energy, opportunity and possibility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives that are relevant to all pupils and promote high expectations.
  • Apply a range of inclusive teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs and deliver engaging, effective lessons. 
  • Use assessment, monitoring, and recording strategies to understand pupils’ learning needs, plan future teaching, and track progress.
  • Promote positive relationships across the school community, including strong, supportive partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Select and prepare high‑quality learning resources that reflect pupils’ needs, languages, and cultural backgrounds.

Pay range:

M1 - M6 (Inner London) £40,317 - £52,300

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – recognised teaching certification.
  • GCSES English and Math
  • Proven experience delivering outstanding teaching and learning, demonstrating high standards and effective classroom practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment, meeting the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos, contributing positively to its culture and community.
