Heworth Grange School, part of
Consilium Academies, is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and student‑centred Deputy
Innovation Manager to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity
to play a key role in supporting some of our most vulnerable learners and
helping the school in its mission to provide an excellent education for every
young person.

About the Role
The Deputy Innovation Manager
will support the Innovation Manager in leading our KS4 Innovation Centre—an
essential provision for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health
(SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
✔ Excellent literacy,
numeracy, communication and ICT skills
✔ Experience working with
children, particularly those with SEMH needs
✔ Strong de‑escalation and
behaviour management skills
✔ Up‑to‑date safeguarding
knowledge
✔ Experience in a school or
educational environment
✔ English fluency in line with
CEFR requirements
Desirable:
• A relevant degree or
equivalent qualification
• Experience supporting curriculum delivery
• Experience supporting students with mental health needs
