SEND Teaching Assistant
Pay scale: Grade D, point 3-4
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm
(39 weeks per year - term time + training days)
We are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in the new academic year.
The role is to support pupils with with special educational needs. This role would include supporting learning needs and social interaction of pupils, as well as general classroom support. Prior experience of working with EYFS children with SEN is desirable.

· An enthusiastic, well motivated and committed individual
· Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs
· Good communication skills
· Has a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
· Willingness to learn and get involved.
· Is able to use his/her initiative to support learning and behaviour
· Good literacy and numeracy skills
