We are looking for someone with strong experience
in a reception role, who can provide a warm and professional front-of-house
service at all times.
The ideal candidate will be confident, friendly,
and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be the
first point of contact for all visitors to the school, so it’s important that
you create a welcoming and well-organised environment.
As part of the role, you will also support with some administrative tasks—full training will be provided.
This is a permanent role, working 22.5 - 27.5 hours per week. The hours are 11:00/12:00–16:30 (start time negotiable), Monday to Friday, during term time, plus 5 INSET days and two additional weeks during school holidays (specific days to be agreed with the line manager).

The successful
candidate will contribute to the work of the admin team. You will undertake a
wide range of duties such as to prepare, produce and photocopy letters, reports
and school publications, and undertaking the efficient filing, record keeping
and retrieval of papers and correspondence. You will also work closely with the
Senior Leadership Team to oversee the school social media sites. You must be
familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of Canva is desirable.
Knowledge also of school management systems such as Arbor would also be
advantageous but not essential.
The Inclusive Multi Academy Trust was established

When recruiting and selecting staff, the Trust is
required to comply with all relevant employment legislation to ensure we are
recruiting within the law as well as complying with the Trust’s Equality
Policy. The Selection Criteria document is critical in the process and sets out
the requirements which the person appointed should have in order to perform the
duties of the post satisfactorily and against which applicants will be
assessed. The selection criteria will be used throughout the recruitment
process as an objective test of assessing candidates at shortlisting, test and
interview stages. Shortlisting will be completed by assessing against the
advertised person specification. Our interviews will always include relevant
questions relating to teaching and will include questions on child protection
and/or safeguarding, behaviour and safety. There will also be an observation
element to the selection day and a task.
