We are looking for a class teacher to join our team here at Purple Oaks Academy!
About the role:
We’re looking for an exceptional teacher who:
· has high aspirations for all the students in our care
· is excited about providing the very best education for students with complex special educational needs and has experience of working with autistic students
· is passionate about delivering an aspirational, thematic curriculum which is adapted to the needs of individuals and focuses on what’s really important
· is creative, dedicated and passionate about keeping the young people at the centre of all we do
· is able to collaborate with other members of the team to ensure the very best provision for our young people
· can build positive relationships with staff, students and families alike
This role is suitable for both experienced professionals who wish to progress their career and ECTs who want to begin their career in a learning rich environment, both from mainstream and specialist settings.
About us:
Our purpose-built building opened in January 2018 and currently provides 126 places for students (3-18) with a diagnosis of autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties.
