Wixams Academy is a thriving, high-performing school that continues to go from strength to strength. Since opening our doors in 2017 with just 80 students, we have grown rapidly and now proudly serve around 950 pupils (as of September 2023), including 120 students in our Sixth Form 🎓.

Our journey doesn’t stop there 🚀 , we are on track to expand to 1,750 students and 200 staff by 2030, supported by our exciting collaboration with Bedford Borough Council and the Department for Education to increase our capacity.

The Opportunity: Science Teacher

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, talented, and passionate Science teacher to join our team.

• The ability to engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3–5 (Years 7–13)
