Hours: 25hrs per week - Monday to Thursday 8:15am - 3pm

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils across Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with or caring for children in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of child development and learning strategies.
  • Is patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and promote independence.
  • Assist in the implementation of Personal Provision Plans and monitor progress.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and displays.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet pupils’ needs.
  • Participate in playground duties and extracurricular activities.
