Moorside High School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of English to lead a thriving department and drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes. The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • Have a proven track record of raising attainment in English
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Be passionate about inspiring young people and raising aspirations
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Be committed to inclusive education and student wellbeing
