We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our school team. This role is vital in supporting our children’s wellbeing and helping to create a positive, safe and happy environment during the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting young children while they eat, encouraging good table manners and healthy eating habits.

  • Supervising the dining hall to ensure lunchtime runs smoothly and safely.

  • Organising and leading engaging play activities in the playground, or indoors during wet weather.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion during play.

  • Administering basic first aid when required and ensuring children are well cared for.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and understands their needs.

  • Is approachable, friendly, and able to build positive relationships.

  • Can work effectively as part of a team and follow school policies.

  • Has a calm, patient, and caring manner.

  • (First Aid training is desirable, but training can be provided.)

This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in children’s social development and daily school experience.

  • Appointments are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, along with other relevant pre-employment checks.

  • References will be sought prior to interview in line with safer recruitment practices.

  • The successful candidate must provide proof of the right to work in the UK.
