About this Role

Monkston Primary School is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and positive thinking Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across Foundation and Years 1 & 2. The successful candidate will work with teachers to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes. Primarily focussing on work with individuals and groups under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher. HLTAs are also required to provide short-term cover supervision to whole classes on a scheduled and un-scheduled basis.  The role also involves leading support for Young Carers across the school, including running a weekly lunchtime drop‑in session, organising the annual Young Carers trip, and collating evidence for our Young Carers Award
