About this Role

The Rowans AP Academy is seeking to appoint a highly effective Learning and Behaviour Support Assistant to join the Teaching and Learning Department, to start from 23rd February 2026.

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning and Behaviour Support Assistant to help pupils engage positively with learning and develop appropriate behaviours. You’ll provide targeted support, promote wellbeing, and work closely with staff to create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

This is a part time, permanent, Term Time Only role, paid on the NJC PayScale grade C1, points 6-19 (FTE £25,989.00 - £32,061.00 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £19,937.27 - £24,594.90 per annum), with a SEN allowance of £1491.

The working pattern will consist of 33 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
