About this Role

Thomas Eaton Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible and reliable person to work with our dedicated site team. To work in our busy school, you must be positive, hard-working and have a strong commitment to high standards of service delivery and customer care. The ideal shift pattern would be: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Monday to Friday, however, there is flexibility around these hours.

We require someone who will love and care for our school as much as we do. You will be responsible for security, general maintenance work and repairs, health and safety issues relating to the buildings, cleaning and porterage duties. You need to be able to undertake basic maintenance of heating, lighting, plumbing and security systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. It is essential that you are capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting and carrying of equipment and materials.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be an advantage as travel between sites may be required. The successful candidate will undertake statutory checks including daily/weekly/monthly recording where required, along with being a key holder and attending emergency call-outs for the school.

We are dedicated to high quality professional development and there are opportunities for further progression within the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust. We value our staff and there are many development opportunities within the Partnership.

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is a charitable multi-academy trust. We are extremely proud of the success of our pupils and staff and we work hard to achieve the highest level of support, teaching and resources in an outstanding environment. Further benefits include;

                    Collaborative approach to working

                    Opportunities to train/work with other academies within the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust to share best practice and resources

                    A friendly and professional team

                    A caring and supportive working environment

                    Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) which includes life cover
