Kingfisher Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner who has a strong track record of raising attainment and is passionate about improving the life chances of every child.

Kingfisher Primary Academy is a larger-than-average primary school in Doncaster, serving a diverse community of pupils aged 3 to 11. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge all pupils
Set high expectations to promote excellent progress and strong pupil outcomes
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future teaching
Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil development

What we are looking for

We are looking for a teacher who:

Is a graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Demonstrates evidence of outstanding classroom practice
Has a proven record of raising attainment across the primary phase, including meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
Has high expectations of pupils and themselves
Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward-thinking
Can inspire, motivate and engage children to succeed
Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and governors
Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
