Kingfisher Primary Academy is a thriving two-form entry school with a 52-place nursery, located in the heart of Doncaster. As part of the Astrea Academy Trust, we are proud to serve a wonderfully diverse community of children aged 3–11. We place the success and wellbeing of our pupils at the centre of everything we do. Our innovative curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and encourage active participation, ensuring every child is engaged and excited about learning. We welcome passionate individuals who want to be part of our journey and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our children and families.
Are you passionate about helping children thrive academically and personally in Key Stage 2?
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Upper KS2 Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where staff are valued and children are at the heart of every decision.
The post requires an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who can demonstrate a strong track record of effective classroom practice and pupil progress. This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as it requires a confident practitioner with the ability to lead learning independently and contribute to the wider development of the phase.
