 Aim and main purpose of the job:

Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.  Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, are skilled teaching and learning focussed practitioners; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of their pupils.  Teachers should:

• Maximise the achievement of all children in their care.
• Be responsible for children’s safety and welfare.
• Assist in the development of the ever-growing school.
• Promote the aims, values and vision of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.

This role involves teaching and supporting children with high-level needs, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.  We are looking for a teacher with a passion for working with our children who have complex SEND, teaching from our Blossom curriculum (created by our Trust Inclusion leads and Curriculum leads).  The Blossom Curriculum has been specifically designed to support children working outside of the National Curriculum.  We would like candidates who have a deep passion to provide an education for children with complex needs to ensure our children thrive both as part of our school community and as an individual.
