About this Role

Brenzett Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking school committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

·        Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

·        Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

·        Contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives

  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and care
  • Use observations and assessments to track progress and tailor learning opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

You will be an enthusiastic, child‑centred educator with:

·        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

·        A passion and commitment to ongoing professional development

·        An understanding of and experience within EYFS

·        Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

·        A commitment to inclusion, diversity and high‑quality practice

·        A solutions-based approach to problem solving

·        An experience of using Tapestry to track learning and communicate with parents
