Vacancy for Lettings Assistant
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 3, Points 2-3 - £24,413 – £24,796 Actual
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Likely to be Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Fridays 12.30pm-8pm.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Assistant to
join our supportive, friendly team at Ely College. You will take ownership of
getting the premises ready for our busy lettings schedule, ensuring that the
premises and equipment are safe, secure and well-maintained while the site is
used for lettings and to secure the site afterwards.
The opportunity
- To
ensure the site, buildings and grounds are opened each evening and secured
at the end of each day including arming/disarming the security system
- Managing
external contractors, ensuring they work safely and in compliance with our
safeguarding policies
- Carry
out maintenance and repairs to furniture and equipment within the scope of
a competent handyperson
- Managing
own time and workload effectively to support all bookings at the agreed
time
- To
take pride in good housekeeping around the site to ensure areas are clear
of litter, dirt or rubbish
The ideal candidate
- Committed,
reliable, and able to build and sustain excellent working relationships
- Can
use initiative, work on their own and as part of a team
- Strong
communication skills
- A
‘can do’ focused attitude
- Confident
in the use of computer systems
- Has
an understanding of Health & Safety best practice principles
