About this Role

We are looking to appoint a permanent Advanced Teaching Assistant for 21.25 hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School.

We are looking to appoint a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and deliver high-quality Read Write Inc. to all children, therefore supporting the development of foundational reading skills. The successful candidate will receive full training and will be committed to ensuring every child can achieve their full potential through targeted support, inclusive practice and high expectations. You will join a skilled and supportive staff team within a high-quality learning environment, where inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about developing our staff and offer excellent opportunities for continued professional development (CPD), making this an ideal role for someone who is keen to grow their expertise while making a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing.

This role will work under the direction of the class teacher and other appropriate staff, in assisting with and contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the learning process.  The post holder will work in classes, or other appropriate locations with access to support and guidance, supervising groups and /or individual pupils.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 21.25 Hours per Week, Term Time Only. To work 8.30am - 12.45pm Monday to Friday.
