Salary: Grade 7 Pay Point 11-14 (Actual Salary Approximately of £21,715) * Pending Support Staff Pay Award Uplift*
Hours: 35 hours per week and 39 weeks per year. ( 38 weeks per year plus additional week including INSET days)
Contract Type: Fixed term post until August 2027 ( Last day of academic year)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30-16:00, with an unpaid lunch break

About the Role
Merrydale Junior Primary School is looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Mentor to join our dedicated team. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who thrives on building positive relationships, supporting pupils with additional needs, and helping children overcome barriers to learning. You’ll work closely with staff, families and external agencies to promote positive behaviour, improve attendance and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can succeed. If you are calm under pressure, passionate about inclusion and ready to be a positive role model for pupils, we’d love to hear from you.
