An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and nurturing team at Copthorne Primary School.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will deliver high-quality lessons and targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff, working with individuals, small groups and whole classes. You will also provide class cover when required and support pupils with a wide range of needs.

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and learning activities
  • Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum through targeted interventions and in-class support
  • Provide support for pupils with additional or specific learning needs, including SEND
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring excellent pupil progress
  • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development in line with our school values
  • Be committed to raising standards and outcomes for all pupils
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team
  • Use effective assessment strategies to support and raise pupil achievement
