About this Role

Greet School is a 4-form entry primary school in the heart of Sparkhill providing the best education for children in an area experiencing high levels of deprivation.

This exciting role will be based in Upper KS2 for the summer term, academic year 2025/2026.  N.B. The role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Plan and prepare courses and lessons in line with the school’s curriculum to promote the development of the abilities and aptitudes of the pupils in any class or group assigned.

·       Teach assigned pupils according to their educational needs including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupil in school or elsewhere.

·       Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.

·       Promote the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of any class or group assigned.

·       Make records and report on the personal, educational and social needs of pupils.

·       Adherence to the Teachers Standards.

·       Safeguards pupils’ health and safety both when they are authorised to be on the schools’ premises and engaged in authorised activities elsewhere.

 

You will have the following skills/ experience.

 

·       Hold Qualified Teacher Status.

·       Experience of working with children working at all levels, including those with Special Educational Needs & Disability.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Flexible and enthusiastic attitude.

·       Commitment to personal and professional development.

·       Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
