Catcliffe Primary School is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. This role is vital in ensuring that lunchtimes are enjoyable, safe, and wellorganised for all pupils. Key responsibilities will include: Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunchtime break. (CPSMD3)
Encouraging positive play, good behaviour, and inclusion across all year groups. Supporting pupils with eating, ensuring healthy and safe lunchtime routines are followed. Dealing with minor incidents and reporting accidents appropriately.
Helping to set up and tidy away equipment, maintaining a clean and safe lunchtime environment. Working as part of a team to ensure smooth running of lunchtime arrangements.
Essential skills and qualities:
Friendly, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with children.
A calm and consistent approach to managing behaviour.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible
First aid knowledge is desirable (training can be provided).
