About this Role

From providing the warmest of welcomes to orchestrating the daily operations of our school, this role is a huge part of our school community and may just be the opportunity for you!

Hours: 26 per week over 4 days

Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (Term time only)

Paid weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)

Rate of pay: £24,721.00 (Actual salary of £14558.38)

Contract: Permanent

Target start date: February 2026

About you

We would like to appoint a charismatic person to work four days a week in our School office (Monday-Thursday) to:

• Efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the School’s admin office

• Provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the Head of School

• Ensure Trust administrative and financial systems are established and maintained

• Manage statutory data returns

If you have the ability to work on your own initiative, but also work as part of a wider team we would like to hear from you. Experience of working in an office environment is essential.

About Polperro Primary Academy

Polperro Primary Academy is a happy and thriving School for children aged 2 to 11.  We currently have 102 children on roll across four classes and our pre-school nursery, and provide a seamless transition between nursery and primary school. In addition to our creative and well-qualified teaching staff, we have excellent teaching assistants who work across the school supporting and enhancing children’s learning. All of these staff are dedicated to providing pupils with quality learning opportunities and take immense pride in their work and in doing the best job they can to support the school.
