About this Role

As a Teacher of Business/Economics you will craft dynamic and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students to think ambitiously and engage deeply with the world of Business. With a passion for nurturing talent and fostering intellectual curiosity, you will help students aspire to excellence and prepare them for future success. We warmly welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and driven Early Career Teachers (ECTs) eager to make a meaningful impact.

At Pinner High School, our pedagogical approach is based on the principles of Rosenshine. All our lessons begin with a do now activity, aimed at recalling knowledge. In addition, a high proportion of students are categorised as higher ability, we therefore expect appropriate challenge in learning. Learning episodes contain  challenge tasks in addition to main activities which support the progression of all students. Students often use green pens to self assess work and teachers use expert subject knowledge for assessment for learning.

Join a dedicated and collaborative team, working together to enhance the overall educational experience.  As a member of the school you will have access to a wealth of CPD opportunities and learning, 3 weeks break at Christmas, access to free parking and free gym access and prospects for additional responsibilities and secondments.  We will provide a comprehensive induction and supportive probation, well planned and structured inset days, enhanced benefits after 1 years continuous service and access to coaching and mentoring.

Join us in shaping the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow!
