We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious,
and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our successful and
growing PE department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher
to inspire students to develop a lifelong appreciation for sport, physical
activity, and healthy living.
The successful candidate will teach Physical Education
across Key Stages 3–5 and contribute to the delivery of both academic and
vocational sport courses. They will also play an active role in the
school’s extracurricular sports provision, supporting teams, competitions,
and enrichment opportunities.

About the PE Department
The PE department is a dynamic and supportive
team committed to delivering a broad and engaging curriculum across Key
Stages 3–5. We aim to develop students’ physical competence, confidence,
and understanding of sport science, while promoting lifelong participation in
physical activity.
Students have the opportunity to study a
range of academic and vocational qualifications including AQA GCSE
Physical Education, BTEC Sport Level 1 / 2, BTEC Sport
Level 3 and AQA A Level Physical Education.
The department runs a vibrant
extracurricular programme, offering clubs, training sessions, and
competitive fixtures across a range of sports
including netball, football, basketball, volleyball,
trampolining, futsal, athletics, cross
country, rounders, softball, cricket, tennis, rugby, table
tennis, Outdoor Adventure Activities, handball, badminton,
gymnastics, dance, and fitness. We encourage participation at all levels
while also supporting talented students to compete in inter-school
competitions.
Students regularly represent the school
in the Borough of Enfield School leagues, Middlesex Cups,
London Youth Games, English Schools Athletics Association cross
country, and other competitions in a variety of sports.
