Kingsteignton School are
seeking to appoint an excellent class teacher – and proven leader – to join our
team on a maternity basis.
We are looking for a
candidate who is passionate about improving outcomes for all children and who
has a proven track record in raising pupil attainment.

The successful candidate will

they expect of their team on a daily basis. Furthermore, they will demonstrate

The position is subject to a
DBS enhanced disclosure check. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be
required to provide evidence of their identity, their educational or
professional qualifications as well as their registration with an appropriate
professional body.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
The school is committed to developing their teachers and leaders and will – through the appraisal process – provide additional support to enhance the successful candidate’s teaching and leadership skills.
As this class teacher and team leader post is a Maternity Cover, it is subject to the associated conditions and will finish when the current post holder returns to school (predicted to be February 2027).
