Ernesettle Community School wish to appoint a caretaker to support the school in maintaining and developing our premises so that they are secure, safe and welcoming for staff, pupils and visitors. The person will work with the Trust Facilities Manager to complete a range of general caretaking duties such as securing the site, dealing with deliveries, decorating as well as more specific repair and remediation work based on the school's priorities.

Split shift pattern:  07.00 – 11.00 and 14.00 – 1800.  You would work term time, which is 39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks, to be agreed, during the school holidays. It is possible that the shift pattern could be discussed with candidates at interview.

The successful candidate needs to be flexible, enjoy working in a school team, as well as under their own initiative and be happy responding to the unexpected!
