This is a fixed term position required from September 2026 until December 2026. We welcome applications from ECTs and we are happy to explore flexible working subject to the operational requirements of the role.
Join us and you will be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed PE department and academy team. You will lead this forward-thinking team across Key Stages 3 and 4 and the whole ability range, working together to create an extremely positive learning culture based on high expectations and a huge passion for your subject. The role offers excellent opportunities for a well-qualified, creative specialist who will build on the success of the department and who is willing to commit to extra-curricular activities that add value to our school and community.

About our school
Cockshut Hill School (rated Good with Outstanding features on our recent Ofsted inspection) is part of the Summit Learning Trust comprising Cockshut Hill, Lyndon School, Ninestiles, an Academy, five primary schools and the Solihull Sixth Form College. Our trust’s Professional Learning Institute offers all of our staff opportunities to collaborate with great educators from across our sector.
