About the role

We are delighted to offer an opportunity to work within our supportive Maths Department, in which we aim to help students reach their full potential in a supportive environment.

This role is to provide in class academic mentoring and support to specific students, whilst promoting engagement for learning and facilitating independence and collaborative peer working. A multi-agency approach will be required to ensure a holistic understanding of the individual students are ascertained with recommendations implemented, monitored and regularly reviewed. 

Hours worked will be variable, and will be on a demand basis.  Flexibility is essential. 

Cockshut Hill School (rated Good with Outstanding features in our recent ofsted inspection) is part of the Summit Learning Trust comprising Cockshut Hill, Lyndon School, Ninestiles, an Academy, four primary schools and the Solihull Sixth Form College. About You

The successful candidate must have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above
  • Evidence of relevant further and or higher education
