About this Role
ST Georges Primary School are looking to appoint a reliable and
hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly site team.
The successful
candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils,
staff and visitors, and be able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy school environment.
The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm-6:30pm,
term time only plus two weeks deep clean in summer (40 weeks).
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and
communal areas
- Hoovering, sweeping and mopping
floors
- Cleaning toilets and wash areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of
waste correctly
- Using cleaning equipment and
products safely
- Adapting cleaning tasks as
required to meet the needs of the school
The ideal candidate will:
- Be hardworking, dependable and
trustworthy
- Have good attention to detail
- Be flexible
and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Be able to work independently and
as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience is
desirable but not essential

St Georges Primary School is committed to safeguarding and

relevant safeguarding procedures, including Keeping Children Safe in Education

references.
