Oxted School is seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that students’ learning continues seamlessly in the absence of staff and will build positive relationships with students, supporting them to succeed. This is an exciting opportunity for proactive and adaptable individual who enjoys working with young people and is eager to contribute to an ambitious school community.
You will provide practical classroom support as part of a wider school team, ensuring continuity of learning through the supervision of pre-planned lessons. Working within school policies and procedures, the role requires a broad understanding of learning strategies and professional standards. You will manage your own workload on a day-to-day basis, responding to short-term priorities and supporting teaching staff by covering key aspects of the learning programme. Guidance and support will be available when needed, and the role may include supporting or supervising less experienced staff.
