We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and skilled Teacher of Geography to join our welcoming secondary school and become part of our supportive and successful Humanities community at Temple Learning Academy. This role offers the chance to work alongside dedicated colleagues who share a commitment to inspiring young people and creating a positive ambitious and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will be an engaging and reflective classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities. This is a predominantly Geography post with responsibility for delivering other Humanities subjects as required. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across all key stages while contributing to the wider life of the school and fully embracing our values and ethos.

About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will:

  • Be an inspiring and reflective classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Geography and the ability to engage motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for the Humanities with the confidence and flexibility to deliver other Humanities subjects as required.
  • Be committed to high expectations and positive relationships creating an inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school working collaboratively with colleagues and embracing the values and ethos of our school community.
