Welcome
to Windsor Girls’- an inclusive school steeped in local history and a school at
the heart of the local community. This is a very special place, where
girls are valued and cared for; they flourish as individuals and leave
qualified, skilled and enthused to embrace the next stage of their lives.
It is our firm belief that young people have one decent chance of
obtaining an outstanding education; a chance that must never be taken for
granted. The Windsor Girls’ community shares a relentless determination
to deliver a first-class education. Our priorities include ensuring that
every learner journeys through an ambitious curriculum that helps them to
discover and nurture their talents, knowledge and skills. We seek to
equip our students with the confidence to aim high, the motivation to work hard
and succeed, and to grab opportunities wherever possible. This is captured
through our school values: aspire, advance and achieve;
values that underpin everything we strive to be and do. As Head of Geography,
your contribution to our team will be vital in enabling us to deliver our aims.
We are excited about what you can offer us, and in turn what we can offer you.

About
Windsor Girls’ School
Windsor
Girls' School is an academy school based in Windsor and Maidenhead for girls
aged 13-18. We are a non-denominational school.
We
actively encourage our students to embrace our extra-curricular programme. We
know that enrichment is important for students; helping to ignite in them an
awe and wonder of the world around them. Sport is important here at Windsor
Girls’ School. Some of our girls represent us at rowing events on the nearby
River Thames.
The
Performing Arts are popular among our girls, with music and drama infused
through the culture of our school.
Values
and Vision
Our priority is that our students are safe and happy. We work hard to ensure that every young person - whatever their needs - makes rapid and sustained progress as they journey our broad, balanced curriculum. We encourage our students to think hard; to be curious and to learn about themselves. We utilise opportunities to recognise and promote the contribution of women, both on our own doorstep and across the world. We believe that diversity is something to be celebrated. We believe that we are part of a community which values individuality while fostering accountability. We believe that learning never stops, and that it is exciting to think about the future. By joining us, you will form part of our collective resolve to ensure that the girls who are educated by us look back on their school years with a smile!
Windsor Learning Partnership is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks along with other relevant employment checks. CVs will not be accepted in place of an application form.
