Are you passionate about supporting young people to feel safe, understood, and ready to learn? Join our dedicated team and play a key role in creating a trauma-informed, inclusive and nurturing environment for students with additional needs.

The Role:

Support learning, communication and wellbeing for students with complex special educational needs, including autism and communication differences.

You will work closely with teaching staff to remove barriers to learning, using trauma-informed approaches, and help every student feel valued, regulated and able to succeed.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly autism
  • Understands and responds to students through a trauma-informed and neurodivergent perspective
  • Builds trusting, consistent and respectful relationships
  • Uses curiosity to understand behaviour and individual needs
  • Is committed to inclusion, wellbeing and student voice
  • Is confident supporting communication, regulation and, where needed, personal care

What you’ll get:

  •  A supportive, values-driven school community
  • Ongoing professional development
  • A collaborative, committed and reflective team
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day

As a UNICEF UK Silver Rights Respecting School, we are committed to placing children’s rights, wellbeing and voice at the heart of everything we do. This reflects our dedication to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where all students are empowered to thrive.
