Do you enjoy working outdoors and supporting learning beyond the classroom?

Isebrook is a secondary special school with over 250 amazing students. We champion all of our students in their journey at Isebrook and support them to be Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Successful Learners.

We are excited to offer an opportunity to support the development of a bespoke Forest School area on our school site, and we are looking for a committed Level 3 support professional to play a key role in this exciting new provision.

Working alongside our Forest School Leader (full training provided), you will support students during outdoor learning sessions, helping them to develop practical skills through exploratory play and deepen their understanding of the local flora and fauna. You will actively encourage engagement, independence, and positive behaviour while ensuring students feel safe and supported.

Forest School sessions enable students to take managed risks in a controlled environment, supporting their mental health, wellbeing, confidence, and self-regulation skills. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about outdoor learning and passionate about making a positive difference to young people with additional needs.

We welcome applications from candidates with the appropriate experience, motivation, and commitment.

You will be:

  • Positive and passionate about supporting students with learning disabilities

  • An effective and reflective practitioner with experience supporting young people with communication difficulties

  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative and lead by example

  • A strong team player, able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Committed to promoting student wellbeing, engagement, and personal development

In return, we offer:

  • A nurturing and supportive staff team committed to high standards for all students

  • A strong school ethos with a focus on collaboration and inclusion

  • Dedicated teaching assistants and pastoral support structures

  • A comprehensive induction programme

  • Ongoing, high-quality professional development opportunities

If you are enthusiastic about outdoor learning and supporting students to thrive, we would love to hear from you.

If you wish to apply, please submit your application on mynewterm.com, deadline:  midday. Friday 23rd January 2026

Interviews will be held: Wednesday 28th January 2026

Creating Tomorrow Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding children, promoting the welfare of all students, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for the successful candidates.
