The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. All four of our wonderful schools are graded as good or outstanding schools by Ofsted. We are extremely popular, over-subscribed, forward-thinking schools with supportive staff and fantastic children.

We are looking to recruit a calm, self-motivated and hardworking Medical Admin Officer to work within our friendly and supportive team, on a maternity cover temporary basis. The successful candidate will be employed by the Trust as a whole and as such, can be expected to carry out their duties at any of the four schools, although there is currently a vacancy at Haymoor Junior School.

We are looking for a good team player who can work well independently and with initiative. The ideal candidate will be professional, confidential, adaptable and flexible and able to work under pressure. They will provide first aid to pupils across the whole junior school age range, and complete admin duties to support the school. Experience of working with children and within a school office is desirable but not essential.

If you:

  • Are keen to work in a supportive, learning environment
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are able to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
  • Have a full Paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to update medical skills as needed
  • Have previous administrative experience and are competent using Microsoft Office
  • Have a can-do attitude to overcoming obstacles
  • Are prepared to go above and beyond
  • Have resilience and stamina

 In return we offer:

        • Fun, friendly and supportive staff who get on really well together
        • Rights’ Respecting pupils with excellent attitudes to learning and high standards of behaviour
        • Superb opportunities and specialist training for professional development within our Trust
        • A fantastic induction programme and support in gaining a qualification for the right candidates
        • Excellent support at all levels, with a proactive approach to well-being, work–life balance, and individual care, including the ability to take time off during term time
        • Beautiful school grounds and welcoming learning environments

Personal information provided by candidates will be securely filed electronically and password protected, with paper copies locked in filing cabinets in a locked office. They will not be released to third parties outside the school without the consent of the person concerned, except where there is a legal requirement to do so. If the application does not proceed, the data will be securely disposed of after 6 months.
