We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Teacher of Religious Education to join the team at Hampton College on a temporary basis, covering a period of maternity, for up to one year, from June or September 2026.
This position will suit an experienced teacher looking for a part time opportunity (0.60 FTE), however there is flexibility in working hours, to be discussed at interview, for the right candidate.
The ability to teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3–5 will be an advantage.
We also welcome applications from Early Career Teachers who are looking for their first position following their initial teacher training. We can offer a full-time, one year fixed term contract in the first instance. We are pleased to be able to support you in your first ECT year, with mentoring and full support along the way.
About the Department
We offer Religious Education at GCSE & A-Level through
AQA. Critical thinking and original thought are key aspects of all our RE
lessons, and we encourage students to develop their own independent thoughts on
religious, philosophical and ethical topics.
