We are seeking to appoint an Academic tutor and Mentor for “Our Children” (sometimes referred to as Children Looked After). This is an exciting joint venture supported by funding from the Virtual School Blackpool and St Mary’s. The post is aimed at someone looking to start a career in education or recently qualified teachers with either primary or secondary experience. The post is for a fixed term starting in January 2026 for two terms, with an end date of 31st August 2026 due to funding from the Local Authority.
St Mary’s is a highly regarded oversubscribed Catholic Academy in Blackpool in the Diocese of Lancaster. The school is very much a Catholic family where everyone works together to support and challenge one another to be the best they can be.
