About this Role
We are looking to appoint a creative, nurturing, and motivated Reception
Class Teacher to join our Early Years Foundation Stage team. The successful
candidate will have a secure understanding of the EYFS framework and be
committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
You will play a crucial role in supporting
children as they transition into formal education, ensuring a strong foundation
for future learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a balanced curriculum in line with the EYFS
framework
- Support children’s development across the seven areas of learning
- Use observation and assessment to inform planning and next steps
- Foster a language-rich environment that supports early reading and
writing
- Promote children’s personal, social, and emotional development
- Work in partnership with parents/carers to support children’s
learning
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children’s transition arrangements into Year 1
