Werneth Primary School
Werneth Primary School is a
two-form entry Primary School, with children from Nursery to Year 6. We
are a part of the Pinnacle Learning Trust, alongside Broadfield Primary School,
Alexandra Park Junior School, Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College.
Our school values of
Care-Aspire-Persevere are values that are lived by our children and by our
Staff Team.
Education is part of the
foundation of our children's future success, so we aim to raise aspirations so
that expectations can be surpassed in every lesson, every day. We want our
children to build a love of learning, enjoy our wonderful curriculum and access
the many learning and personal development opportunities provided for
them.
By joining the Werneth
Primary School Team, you will benefit from our extensive CPD programme
(supplemented by The Pinnacle Learning Trust Research School) and enjoy working
with our expert and committed staff, our aspirational families and our
wonderful children.
You can get a feel for the passion we have at
Werneth Primary School through our website, but please do organise to come in
and meet us in person. That’s the best way to get a sense of the dynamic and
broad education that our children are enjoying and what your future at Werneth
Primary School can be.
At the Pinnacle Learning Trust, we celebrate students’ uniqueness and support our young people to flourish and become responsible, successful citizens who contribute positively to their communities. Our Trust invests in each member of staff, offering them professional development opportunities, including designation as Evidence Leads in Education for the Research School; delivery of school-to-school support; CPD facilitation and support for trainee teachers. Staff have access to opportunities to develop their teaching practice, such as training on metacognition, virtual classroom coaching and retrieval practice. As a Trust, we celebrate diversity by encouraging an understanding of our communities, faiths and cultures.
