We are looking to appoint an inspirational, ambitious and talented Class Teacher and Early Years Lead to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This role is central to the success of Civitas Academy and is a position which has a direct impact on the outstanding learning opportunities provided to our pupils.
You will provide excellent leadership, direction and management to ensure the sustained success of the Early Years Foundation Stage, sharing in and supporting the leadership of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day teaching and learning provision for all children in your phase, including those with Special Educational Needs, English as an Additional Language, those more-able learners and those eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant. You will receive coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders in the academy to ensure that you are supported in all aspects of what you do.
Civitas Academy is an inclusive setting, valuing all children’s achievements, ensuring that each child is given every opportunity to meet their full potential. As a Class Teacher, you will be passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for children and giving them every opportunity to succeed, whatever their barriers may be. Through real life, practical, hands-on learning, we offer children a wide variety of opportunities to showcase their learning and engage parents in their children’s learning by sharing these experiences via our online platforms. Through adaptive teaching, every child is respected and treated as an individual, with no limits placed on their learning. At Civitas, we create a friendly, caring atmosphere with happy children who are absorbed in what they are learning and feel valued as they progress through their learning journey. Our exciting and challenging curriculum engages and motivates our pupils to become resilient, independent thinkers with a thirst for learning. Whilst we strive for high academic standards, we are also fully committed to developing the creative, emotional and social aspects of all of our pupils’ lives to ensure both their physical and mental wellbeing.
