About this Role

Watchfield Primary School is proud to be part of the Cambrian Learning Trust, a well established multi academy trust. Located in the welcoming village of Watchfield, near Faringdon, we serve a vibrant and diverse school community.

Our vision -'At Watchfield We SOAR', underpins everything we do. We are committed to enabling both children and adults to flourish by fostering the qualities of being Successful, Original, Aspirational and Resilient.

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support within a busy school environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible and proactive approach. They will be calm under pressure, able to manage competing priorities, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team while responding positively to the day to day needs of the school.

Applicants should have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, ideally supported by GCSEs at grade A to C / Grade 4 or above [or equivalent], and be confident in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

We warmly welcome visits to the school and would be delighted to arrange an informal conversation to discuss the role in more detail.

Please contact the school office on 01793 782623 or email office@wat.cambrianlt.org to arrange an appointment.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and interviews may be conducted as suitable candidates apply. We therefore encourage early applications, as we reserve the right to close this vacancy once a suitable candidate has been appointed.

We expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Check.
