We are a one-form-entry primary school catering to children aged 2 to 11. At St Augustine’s, faith is central to all we do, shaping our curriculum, relationships, and the daily life of our school. ●     Is a practising and committed Catholic with a secure understanding of the distinctive nature and purpose of Catholic education

●     Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.

●     Has experience of leadership and teaching in a successful and inclusive school environment.

●     Has the ambition and integrity of an excellent leader who is motivated to provide equity for all children. 

●     Can articulate and share a clear vision for primary education that reflects the mission and values of St Augustine’s Catholic Academy.

●     Understands what constitutes high-quality educational provision and has strategies to raise standards and ensure the success of all pupils

●     Is well-organised and adaptable, able to balance competing priorities and respond positively to the changing needs of a busy school environment.

●     Has excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider community
