Become a Parent Governor at iExel Education Trust

IQRA Primary Academy is looking for a committed, enthusiastic School Governor to join our Governing Board.

As a Parent Governor, you will:

• Guide the strategic direction of the school
• Support and challenge school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
• Monitor educational performance, safeguarding and pupil welfare
• Oversee resources to ensure value for money
• Champion the values, vision, and aspirations of the school
• Represent the community, ensuring the school meets local needs.

No previous experience is required—just a willingness to learn and work collaboratively.  Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Commitment:

• Around Five meeting per year
• Occasional school visits to see learning in action
• A four-year term of office, with opportunities for ongoing development
