A haven of hope and aspiration — where kindness,
resilience and ambition shape every day…
We are seeking an inspirational class teacher (KS1
or KS2) who will ignite curiosity, model compassion and high expectations, and
enable every pupil to flourish.
Why you’ll love
working here
- A
values‑driven school: our Christian vision and Jeremiah 29:11 underpin
daily life. Our five core values — Compassion, Friendship, Resilience,
Respect, Aspiration — are lived in classrooms and corridors.
- Exceptional
support: an experienced SLT and committed governors provide practical, day‑to‑day
leadership so you can focus on excellent teaching and pupil progress.
- Truly
inclusive community: we welcome a richly diverse intake (c.50% EAL, 38%
pupil premium, 18% SEND). We champion high‑quality universal teaching and
expect clever adaptation so every pupil achieves.
- Professional
growth and wellbeing: targeted CPD, coaching, clear career pathways and
workload‑aware practice that values staff wellbeing.
The role
- Plan,
teach and assess knowledge‑rich, engaging lessons in KS1 or KS2 that meet
the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL and pupil premium.
- Create
a safe, ambitious classroom where pupils take risks, solve problems and
make strong progress.
- Use
crisp formative assessment to identify next steps; work closely with the
SENCO, teaching assistants and families to remove barriers to learning.
- Contribute
to whole‑school improvement priorities and promote our values through
everyday practice and collective worship.
We’re looking
for someone who
- Is
a reflective, enthusiastic classroom practitioner with QTS and a track
record of impact in KS1 or KS2.
- Holds
high expectations for every pupil and skilfully adapts teaching so ALL
pupils make strong progress.
- Builds
warm, purposeful relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is
committed to our Christian ethos and to developing resilient, respectful
and aspirational learners.
We offer
- A
supportive SLT who invest in your development and wellbeing.
- Skilled
teaching assistants and access to inclusion expertise.
- A
proud, caring school community and consistently positive behaviour.
- Opportunities
for subject and leadership development across the trust.
