The Pioneer
Learning Trust is a small but growing Trust of collaborative schools in Luton
and Bedford. The Trust currently consists of The Ferrars Academy, Chantry
Primary Academy, Southfield Primary Academy, Whitefield Primary Academy,
Ferrars Junior School, Warden Hill Infant School, and Lakeview School.
The Ferrars Academy is a very popular, successful, and well-resourced
academy with a well-established and supportive leadership team; rated Good by
Ofsted, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in education, for infant
and nursery aged children. We are located in Luton on the Luton/Dunstable
border, close to the M1, A5 link roads and the L&D hospital. Our 3-form
entry school has children who are well behaved and learn in a vibrant and
friendly environment.
We are looking to recruit a highly committed and passionate class teacher.

Additional information
Applicants for this public facing post will need to
demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice in
fluently spoken English.
Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection
screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the
Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). This post is exempt from the
Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Internet searches will also be
carried out prior to interview.
Those who were born or have lived outside the UK
may need to acquire additional overseas checks, which will be the
responsibility of the candidate.
Experience of working in a school is
desirable.
