About this Role

Compass Academy is a unique setting which supports KS3 pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs in addition to identified SEND needs.

Due to the increase in SEND needs across the Academy, we are seeking to recruit two additional Alternative Provision tutors to provide targeted support to those  pupils who are most in need.

This role will work with teachers to provide teaching,  learning and pastoral support by working with individuals or small groups of students under the direction of teaching staff/pastoral leads and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Only 

Position Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 (including possible scope for extension)

Line Manager: Assistant Vice Principal

Travel Required: No
