Required to start as soon as possible, the Academy Council of this
high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to
appoint an Examinations Officer to administer and oversee the smooth running of
school internal and external examinations, ensuring that all examinations
comply with school and examination board policy and JCQ regulations.

This is a key position in the school and the ideal candidate will either be an experienced professional or someone with demonstrable experience in administration or education who is looking for a new challenge, where your skills can make a real difference. We are looking for:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong organisational abilities and a resilient, forward-thinking mindset. This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same, so the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
- A high level of personal drive, energy, and resilience, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrable excellent administrative and IT skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
- A proactive and detail-orientated individual who is
passionate about supporting student learning,
- Someone with experience in this field, however this is not
essential as full training will be provided.
What will I be doing?
- Managing all aspects of examination administration, including entries, timetables and compliance with JCQ regulations.
- Coordinating with staff, students and parents to ensure smooth communication and support throughout the exam process.
- Recruiting and overseeing Exam Invigilators, ensuring exam rooms and logistics are properly arranged.
- Handling secure storage and distribution of exam materials, results and certificates.
- Maintaining accurate data systems, supporting financial processes and ensuring timely reporting and analysis.
- Ensuring you stay up to date with policy changes and ensuring all exam related documentation and procedures are current.
