St George’s Church of England Primary School is seeking a Pastoral Manager, and we are equally open to appointing an aspiring pastoral leader or family support worker who is dedicated, hardworking and ready to grow into the role. 🌟 What matters most is who you are. We want someone who is committed, compassionate and determined to help every child flourish.

We are passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing, and we are committed to empowering young people with the knowledge and wisdom to shape their future. 📚✨ We are a friendly, professional and hardworking team 🌟 in the heart of North Edgbaston and Ladywood 🌆 serving a culturally diverse and aspirational community 🌍. We believe that staff are our greatest asset 🌟 and we invest heavily in personalised professional development, coaching and support because we know that staff growth leads to exceptional outcomes for our children. 💪

🤝 Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can make a genuine difference to children’s lives, build trusting relationships with families, and work compassionately and confidently within our community. 📘 The Role

You will play a vital role in supporting children’s emotional, social and behavioural needs, working closely with pupils, families and staff to remove barriers to learning. You will be a consistent point of contact for pastoral and family support, providing guidance, early help and practical solutions. You will also serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that safeguarding and child protection are managed effectively, confidently and in line with statutory requirements.

🌟 What We Offer

A warm, inclusive and ambitious school community. Supportive leadership and a committed staff team. A personalised CPD programme tailored to your journey. Coaching and mentoring to support professional growth. Access to trust-wide professional networks and training. Staff wellbeing support and a comprehensive benefits package.
