About the role
Permanent, 34.5 hours per week, 39 weeks worked per year
The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to support
individual students with special educational needs, assist in maintaining good
order and keeping pupils on task to achieve their full academic potential. You
will support the Academy's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare
of children and young people.
Use specialist (curricular/learning)
skills/training/experience to support students.
Support students with special educational needs with an
emphasis on students who are below literacy age related expectations.
Support students who require tests and assessments in areas
such as reading, dyslexia etc.
Assist with the development and implementation of Pupil
Profiles.
Establish productive working relationships with students,
acting as a role model and setting high expectations.

the heart of all they do. We call what we do meticulous care because
we will never allow a child to slip through the cracks. We together as a united
and aligned team to ensure every child is safe, happy, and learning at our
much-loved school.
